The Pines is a wonderful school to supply at, however, it is very tricky to find. Your GPS will not find the school and you will not find it in Google Maps.
Here are the directions:
From Hwy. 401
Take the Hwy 35/115 exit ~ heading North. Drive past the McDonald’s exit and take the next exit lane as if you were heading in to Subway Just past the Ultramar Gas Station there will be a Yellow traffic sign indicating that the exit lane will end. That’s exactly where the driveway is for The Pines and Clarke HS.
If you reach Harvey’s/Shell Station, you have gone too far. If you’ve passed the school you will need to exit at the 4th Concession Road, go under the highway and head south until you reach the 3rd Concession Road. You will then have to loop around and come back to the Northbound lanes.
From Hwy. 35/115 Southbound lane:
Exit at Concession Road 3-Newcastle Go under the highway and turn at the McDonald’s to get back on the Northbound lanes of Hwy. 35/115 Take the next exit lane as if you were heading in to Subway Just past the Ultramar Gas Station there will be a Yellow traffic sign indicating that the exit lane will end. Again, do not use your GPS to find the school. The GPS will almost always take you to the old Bowmanville Senior PS in Bowmanville. Our school is located right on the highway and GPS will not recognize this.
